A Bucks man who had been accused of keeping sexual images of children has been exonerated after the charge against him was dropped.
At a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court this morning (Wednesday), a prosecutor informed judge Francis Sheridan that the Crown Prosecution Service would no longer be pursuing a charge against Ian Berrie.
Mr Berrie, aged 47, of Aylesbury, had been charged with making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child - to which he had pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor told the court that the CPS had decided there was “insufficient evidence to provide realistic prospect of a conviction.”
Judge Sheridan announced that the court therefore found Mr Berrie not guilty of the charge.
