The face of a paedophile who groomed two teenage girls in Bucks has been revealed.

Robert Kiedis, aged 43, was sentenced to three years in prison yesterday (Monday) after he admitted to grooming two girls under the age of 16.

The paedophile, who groomed the two teenagers in the Aylesbury Vale area over a period of more than a year, had admitted he planned to have sexual relations with them.

Sentencing him yesterday, Judge Alex Wright said: “You recognise the impact on the victims but it’s troubling that nonetheless you went on and committed the offences.

“It’s necessary to impose an extended sentence to protect the public and especially young children and young girls.”

The court heard from prosecutor Edward Culver that Kiedis had told the girls that he thought the legal age of consent should be lowered from 16 to 14 years old.

Kiedis, who is of no fixed address, also offered the girls alcohol and cannabis.

The court heard how Kiedis had also committed several unrelated child sexual offences in Nottingham in 2013.

Kim Preston, who represented Kiedis, told the court her client felt “shame and remorse” for his actions.

Judge Wright sentenced Kiedis to three years behind bars, as well as an extended two-year licence period. He was added to the sex offenders register indefinitely and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.

Kiedis pleaded guilty to two charges of engaging in sexual communication with a child and two counts of failing to comply with a notification requirement.
