People are being urged to be safe after a car crashed on a road that is known for having numerous accidents.

In the morning of Friday, August 6, residents in South Bucks noticed that the vehicle had turned over on Sheepridge Lane in Flackwell Heath – a road that is notoriously known as an accident blackspot.

A post that was shared in the Flackwell Heath Facebook page stated: “A car has turned over on the corner outside the farm on Sheepridge Lane.

The 60mph road has been described as ‘dangerous’ by some locals in the past, and there have been calls to have its speed reduced to decrease the chances of any accidents.

South Central Ambulance Service has since told the Bucks Free Press: "We were called this morning at 08:24 to an incident on Sheepridge Lane.

"We sent to the scene an ambulance crew who were assessing one patient that did not require hospital treatment."
