Thunderstorms are predicted to hit Bucks this afternoon, as the Met Office issues a yellow warning for the county.
The weather service has put a yellow warning in place between 12pm and 9pm today (Monday), predicting that thunderstorms and flooding could impact homes and businesses, and that spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions.
The warning said: "Heavy, slow-moving, thundery downpours will develop today. Some places will miss these, but where they do occur, 10-20 mm rain may fall in a short space of time, perhaps with 20-40mm over two or three hours in a few places.
"The showers will die out during the evening."
The Chilterns Weather Alerts team says we could see a "few heavy showers here and there but these will fade away by midnight".
But they also say the afternon "looks pretty nice, with lots of sunny intervals in-between the patchy cloud. Temperatures reaching 21C".
