This week, students all across Bucks will receive their A-Level and GCSE grades, their results a culmination of years of hard work and study.

Today (Tuesday) is A-Level results day, while Thursday will see GCSE students get their grades.

Following the cancellation of exams in 2021, students will be given grades determined by their teachers, where pupils are only assessed on what they have been taught during the pandemic.

Students are also being given the chance to sit their exams in the autumn term, if they want to.

Last year’s exam results were dubbed a "fiasco" and saw students receive grades well below what they were predicted due to an algorithm.

This year, the algorithm has been scrapped in favour of teacher-led results.
