Police found a body of a man in his sixties after they were called to the junction of Seer Mead and School Lane on Tuesday (August 10).

The main road through the village of Seer Green was cordoned off with forensics seen focusing their attention on a car parked on the lane at around 10:30am.

According to residents at the scene, the man was found inside a car although this has not been confirmed by police.

Forensic officers appeared to be going into a car that was parked at the side of the road with a black sheet being held up by officers.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Thames Valley Police was called to the junction of Seer Mead and School Lane at around 10:30am on Tuesday (August 10).

“The body of a man in his sixties was found.

“His next of kin have been informed.

“The man’s death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner”.
