A tractor driver from Bucks has been fined after he was caught speeding.

Many drivers will be used to getting stuck behind slow tractors on the road, but Tomas Margevicius, aged 38, has been fined £66 after he was caught speeding in one.

Margevicius, of Bramber Close in Bletchley, was caught by a speed camera going at 35mph in a 30mph zone while driving a Mercedes heavy tractor in Norwich.

The driver had been given the option of taking a speed awareness course or paying a fixed penalty, but after failing to do either, he was brought before Norfolk Magistrates’ Court on July 6.

The magistrates agreed to fine him £66 and endorse his driving licence with three points.

He was also ordered to pay a further £124 costs to the court.
