A Bucks thug who attacked an elderly man without provocation and spat in the face of a police officer twice has avoided going to prison.

Constantin Davidoiu, aged 48, was drunk when he randomly attacked an elderly man and then without provocation spat at a police constable in Milton Kenyes.

Davidoiu, of Polruan Place in Milton Keynes, appeared at Buckinghamshire Magistrates’ Court on May 12 and pleaded guilty to charges of common assault of an emergency worker and assault by beating, both of which took place on February 27.

The thug avoided a custodial sentence but was handed a 12-week sentence suspended for one year. He was also ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

Davidoiu was also ordered to pay £150 compensation to both his victims, and an additional £213 in costs.
