The outgoing president of The Marlow Inner Wheel club leaves with raising just under £4000 for selected charities.
With Pattie Beresford unable to hold fund-raising events during the pandemic members donated to the club’s chosen charities.
Local charity One Can received £1420 and Rennie Grove Hospice Care £910 whilst £1700 was raised from the recent sale of donated goods.

After the handover to the new president of the club, Linda Scott has kicked off the fundraising for this year by presenting a cheque for £150 to the organisers of Dementia Action for Marlow.
The charity that helps people living with dementia was one of the local charities to benefit from a share of the £1700 raised by the sale.
In the last eighteen months, Pattie led the club through monthly newsletters and Zoom meetings but now Linda will hoping to return to in-person events.
