Two people have been arrested after police stopped a car to find suspected stolen items inside. 

A large amount of suspected stolen alcohol, meat and food were recovered.

The car was stopped after police were alerted to sticking tape on the number plate of the vehicle.

An investigation is now underway.

"Vehicle with an doctored number plates caught our eye in Beaconsfield last night.
