A missing child sparked a police search in a Bucks village.
Thames Valley Police has an increased police presence in the Wing area, in Aylesbury Vale on Friday evening.
The child has since been found safe and well, with the police thanking people living in the area for their support.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "You may of noticed an increased police presence in the Wing area yesterday evening.
"This is following a report of a nine-year-old child that had gone missing in the area, however the child was located safe and well.
"We would also like to pass our thanks onto the residents who joined us in the search for the child.
"Your support and assistance is always appreciated and welcomed."
