Mystery continues to surround the death of a 27-year-old father whose remains were found in a Bucks woodland near the M40 motorway.
A Metropolitan Police investigation into the death of Mohammed Shah Subhani, 27, is still ongoing after his remains were discovered in a wooded area in Hedgerley in December 2019.
More than two years on from when he disappeared from Hounslow, London, in May 2019, the police investigation into his death is yet to reveal answers.
At a pre-inquest review held at Beaconsfield Coroners’ Court today (Wednesday), coroner Crispin Butler revealed there had been “no recent progress” into Mr Subhani’s death.
Although several people were previously arrested in connection with the victim’s death, no charges have been made.

Mr Butler said: “There’s no real progress to report in relation to the Metropolitan Police’s investigation into how Shah came to be found in Buckinghamshire.
“The investigation remains open.
“I am not aware of any individual or individuals being charged with any homicide offences, or appearing in court to answer such charges.”
Mr Butler added that he had not been asked to suspend the inquest, which remains open.
A further pre-inquest review has been scheduled for December 9.
