A former headteacher at a High Wycombe primary school who is accused of sexually assaulting two girls has denied having a “secret pact” with one of his pupils.

Angus Blackmore, 57, of Tylers Green, is on trial at Amersham Law Courts accused of five counts of sexually assaulting a child and one count of engaging in sexual communications with a child.

Blackmore, who is the former headteacher at Beechview Academy, has denied all the charges against him.

Under cross examination from the prosecution today (Tuesday), Blackmore denied that he had a “secret pact” with a girl he is alleged to have sexually assaulted in June 2018, while he was the headteacher at Beechview Academy.

The jury was also told that the second complainant in the case, another girl who was taught by Blackmore, also claimed to have received “special” attention from him.

Prosecutor Ian Hope said: “There was a secret pact you had with her.  Little girls and little boys think it’s a good thing, don’t they?”

In response, Blackmore said: “There hasn’t been any pact with children, it’s not appropriate.”

“There were no words being said, no touching. There was no sexual motivation.

“I have not touched the girls, I am not sexually attracted to young girls, I never have been and never will be.”

Mr Hope told Blackmore that his alleged victim also claims that he hugged her and held her hand – which he denied.

The court also heard how Blackmore’s school laptop was found to have been used to access inappropriate child sexual content on eight separate occasions.

Blackmore claims other people had access to the laptop and that he did not access any child sexual content himself.

Angus Blackmore is charged with five counts of sexually assaulting a child and one count of engaging in sexual communication with a child. He denies the charges against him.

The trial continues.
