Two drivers were caught speeding at 100mph on the M40 last night, with one also giving a positive drugs test.

Officers from the Thames Valley Roads Policing unit pulled over two drivers on the motorway after they were recorded driving at extremely high speeds.

The first driver was stopped after they were recorded driving at 100mph. When officers conducted a drugs wipe the test came out positive, so the driver was arrested and taken into custody for a further tests.

The second driver was recorded travelling at 103mph. They were also stopped and reported, and are set to appear in court soon.
