A woman has been fined for being a “nuisance” in an Aylesbury hospital and refusing to leave.

Suzanne Toms, aged 51, has been fined £60 after she caused a disturbance in the Whiteleaf Centre in Bierton Road, Aylesbury.

Toms, of Farnham Road in Slough, was found guilty of causing a nuisance or disturbance on NHS premises at a hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on August. She was not in attendance.

The court heard how on January 18, Toms was at the mental health hospital for purposes other than obtaining medical advice, treatment, or care.

She was found to have caused a “nuisance or disturbance” to an NHS staff member and when asked she refused to leave the building.

The magistrates fined Toms £60 and ordered her to pay £128 costs.
