The top 50 gastropubs in the UK for 2021 have been compiled by the global travel site Big 7 Travel, with one from Buckinghamshire making the top 10.
The Coach in Marlow came in an impressive fourth place
There is a huge beneft of the Coach having a Michelin star where "the food takes centre stage over eveything they do" according to the Big 7 Travel page.
A cosy environment is also a positive, allowing patrons to unwind while awaiting their meal.
Spekaing of the food, dishes include whole stuffed rotisserie quail with haggis and butternut squash, as well as a smoked haddock scotch egg.
In its second year of existence now, the list was determined from a combined score of reader's suggestions throughout the year, online user reviews and Big 7 Travel's editorial team.
A gastropub is defined as a hybrid pub, bar and restaurant serving alcoholic food and drinks.
The list was looking out for those establishments that went above and beyond just ordinary pub grub.
It would be the sort of place patrons would come to for a Sunday roast, house-cured meats an artisan ingredients.
