Every year, drink drivers are responsible for seriously injuring and sometimes killing people all over the country.

Buckinghamshire is no different, with many irresponsible drivers putting others at risk by getting behind the wheel whilst under the influence of alcohol.

Those who have been caught have been made to pay the price, being hauled before the courts and made to pay fines, ordered to carry out unpaid work and receiving driving bans.

See below for a list of drink drivers who were convicted at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court from July 19 to August 24.

Richard Coxwell, 63, of North Drive, Holtspur. Driving over the drink drive limit in Marlow Road, Bourne End, on July 1. Fined £1,538. Costs £239. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

Piotr Trybulski, 32, of Eastern Street, Aylesbury. Driving over the drink drive limit in Rimmington Way, Aylesbury, on May 5. Fined £60. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Shellene Jack, 42, of Amersham Road, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink drive limit on the M40 in Beaconsfield on August 8, 2020. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Costs £522. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Victor Kabera, 35, of Station Close, High Wycombe. Driving over the drink-drive limit on the M25 motorway in Fulmer on May 17. Must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within 12 months. Costs £180. Disqualified from driving for 28 months.
