The people of High Wycombe and its surrounding areas are being encouraged to take part in a show that will be broadcasted on Channel 5.

Skin A&E, which is produced by Boom Cymru, help patients with a range of skin conditions in a private clinic, whilst following the work of some of the UK’s leading consultant dermatologists.

As well as a no-filter look at their surgery or treatment, the series reflects how living with such skin conditions impacts both the quality of life and often, the mental health of the patients.

In their previous series, one of the episodes looked at a man who had multiple cysts on his head, and a woman who had a huge lipoma on her shoulder.

A researcher from the show said: “Following on from the success of the first two series, the doors to the Skin A+E clinic will be open for a third time, where a team of top UK dermatologists will give participants a freeconsultation, advice and medical treatment if appropriate.

“Our casting team is currently looking for people in High Wycombe & the surrounding areas who would like the opportunity to see a consultant dermatologist and potentially receive free treatment for their skin complaint.

“We are looking for people with cysts, lipomas and other lumps and bumps who have, for example, been told that their condition cannot be treated on the NHS, that they are on a long waiting list for treatment or the treatment they have been hoping to receive has been delayed.

“If you, or someone you know, has a skin condition then the team at Boom would like to hear from you.
