A jazz band led by former principal trumpeter in the Queen’s household division will perform in Marlow.
Marlow Jazz club has announced the Back To Blue Note quintet led by Stuart Henderson will be at Marlow’s Royal British Legion Hall on October 19 at 8.30pm.
From 1983 to 2005 Stuart was principal trumpet of the Scots Guards in Her Majesty’s Household Division.
During this period he played many times for the Royal Family and at State Occasions all over the world.
Since leaving the services he has become a fixture on the UK jazz scene with many prestigious appearances.
The band was formed to celebrate the music of the Blue Note jazz record label.
Stuart will be joined by Ollie Weston, Tom Berge, Raph Mizraki, Simon Price and will play tributes to many of the best-known songs.
Tickets are £10, pay at the door, but the club is still at a slightly reduced hall capacity so you are able to book in advance by phoning 01628 486571.
