A wanted joyrider who fled from police was eventually arrested - after stealing a £4 packet of hot dogs from the Co-op.
Dwaine Hesford, 32, who has an eye-watering 144 offences to his name, pinched the Vauxhall Mokka from outside a house in Aylesbury in September after finding the keys in the glove box of another car.
A police officer tried to stop the car after Hesford pulled in front of him at a T-junction days after the theft.

A short chase through the Buckinghamshire town ended when Hesford ditched the car and fled on foot.
He was arrested on September 8 after police officers spotted him outside a Co-op in Jansel Square, Aylesbury. Checks of the CCTV showed he’d just stolen a packet of hot dogs worth £3.90 from the shop.
Appearing before Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday afternoon, Hesford, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent, driving without insurance or a licence, and shoplifting.
The justices released him on conditional bail and ordered a pre-sentence report. He will be sentenced at Wycombe magistrates’ court on November 15.
Chairman of the bench Ray Cross said the magistrates would grant bail ‘against our better judgement’, noting Hesford had an ‘appalling record’. His bail conditions require him to sign in at Aylesbury police station every day between midday and 2pm.
