A 20-year-old has denied causing the death of a High Wycombe teenager on a busy Beaconsfield road.
Sam Stephen Cripps, aged 20, has been accused of causing the death of 19-year-old Zaide Sandy in a crash that took place on the A355 Amersham Road on May 5.
The incident happened on the main road between the A40 roundabout and the junction with Maxwell Road.
Mr Sandy, who was from High Wycombe, was riding a Piaggio scooter when the collision occurred.
At Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday, Cripps pleaded not guilty to charges of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by careless driving.
A trial date has been set at Aylesbury Crown Court for March 21, 2022.

Following his death in hospital, Mr Sandy’s heartbroken mother Fayonne called him “the mot amazing young man you could ever meet.”
She said: “Zaide was an absolutely amazing young man.
“He was absolutely incredible. He was my king. Every time that I think of him, I talk about him, I cannot help but smile. Zaide was never sad, he was never angry.”
A friend of Mr Sandy’s described him as “the brightest star” in the Wycombe Youth Action scheme Project Elevate, which gets young people off the street and involved in music and other creative projects.
Speaking after his death, youth worker Kwaks Bonsu said: “He was the brightest star in the Project Elevate project.
“We asked him to be a mentor because so many people had respect and love for him. He went above and beyond with everyone that he met.”
