A High Wycombe man has been jailed for four months after he failed to turn up to two appointments with the court.
Dale McGinn, aged 32, had been expected to attend court appointments in May after he was given a suspended sentence for a series of thefts.
McGinn, of Hughenden Road, was expected to attend two court appointments as part of the suspended sentence order, but after he failed give a good excuse for the no-shows, the magistrates decided to trigger his suspended sentence, meaning he will now have to serve four months behind bars.

On May 7, McGinn was handed the suspended sentence order after he admitted to stealing hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol from various supermarkets around Bucks.
Part of the suspended sentence was a condition that he attend court appointments, but he failed to turn up to the initial meeting on May 17 and no-showed a week later on May 24.
At Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on September 29, McGinn admitted breaching the terms of the suspended order. He was not ordered to pay any additional costs.
