A man was spotted sitting in his car beckoning school pupils over to speak with him days after a woman in her twenties was followed home from a retail park.

Police believe that the incidents are linked as an Audi A5 with a registration number starting with AU21 was used in both incidents.

The woman in her twenties entered Marks and Spencer in Broadfields Retail Park at around 6pm on October 12 and noticed a man following her around the shop and back to her car before following her back to her home address.

Three days later a man was sat in a car outside Aylesbury Vale Academy beckoning school pupils over to speak with him.

Investigating officer, PC Jamie Day, based at Aylesbury police station said: “We believe that these incidents are linked and are therefore appealing to anyone who may have witnessed these incidents, or has any information about what happened, to please come forward.

“You can make a report by calling 101 or via the online reporting tool on the website.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
