A new cheating map reveals affairs are booming in Buckinghamshire - and Aylesbury is the county’s adultery capital.

The “cheating map” by IllicitEncounters.com reveals the county’s cheating capital is Aylesbury with 1,569 people in the town having an affair - up from 1,060 last year.

High Wycombe came second (1,113 cheats, up from 1,052 last year), Amersham was third (890 affairs, up from 666 last year), Hemel Hempstead was fourth (749 affairs, up from 712 last year) and Beaconsfield was fifth (662 affairs, up from 585 last year).

IllicitEncounters.com spokeswoman Jessica Leoni said: “We have seen a big rise in cheating over the last year in Buckinghamshire, particularly since the start of autumn with almost all adults double jabbed.

“Record numbers of people came back from their summer holidays miserable and looking for excitement after 18 months of being bored and stuck at home with their partners.

“We have enjoyed the busiest year in our history with women in particular looking to start afresh and joining in unprecedented numbers.

“The cheating surge will continue as more of us return to the office in the run-up to Christmas. Adulterers often use work as a way to cover up their affair.”
