Parking restrictions could be brought in on a number of village roads - including near a secondary school.

Waiting restrictions could be created at different junctions along the A4094 Boundary Road and Watery Lane in Wooburn Green and New Road and Hedsor Road in Bourne End.

Buckinghamshire Council said the planned new restrictions will create a “safer environment for pedestrians and road users” by preventing parking opposite or within 10 metres of a junction and near school entrances.

They also want to install some ‘school keep clear’ road markings outside Bourne End Academy in a bid to alleviate the parking issues at peak times.

Both Hedsor Road and Boundary Road will have “no waiting at any time at junctions” markings, while New Road will have “no waiting at any time at junctions” at the junction with Cores End Road and “no stopping on entrance markings” Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Watery Lane will have “no waiting at any time on the access road” markings.
