A man has been caught with a machete in High Wycombe town centre.

Mohammed Aziz, aged 19, was caught with the weapon on November 21, 2019.

Aziz, of Fassetts Road in Loudwater, initially denied a charge of possessing a bladed article in a public place, but at a hearing on October 18 at Wycombe Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to carrying a machete.

The 19-year-old is next due to appear at court on Novemer 29, where a pre-sentence report will be presented to the justices before he is sentenced.

Aziz has found himself in trouble with the police before after he filled up his car with diesel and made off without paying, for which he received a hefty fine.

He has also been convicted of racially aggravated harrassment in the past.
