A car which was parked over a zebra crossing in Beaconsfield has been towed away by police.

A black Mercedes was reported to the police after it was left on the zig-zag lines next to a zebra crossing in Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield, right next to the A40 roundabout.

After arriving on the scene and conducting checks on the vehicle, officers discovered that both its road fund licence had MOT had expired.

Once the checks were complete, the vehicle was towed away and has now been impounded by Thames Valley Police.

On social media, TVP Chiltern and South Bucks said: "The driver of this vehicle was reported for parking on the pedestrian crossing zig zag lines in Beaconsfield.

"Things got worse for the driver when checks revealed that the vehicle’s Road Fund Licence and MOT had expired. Reported. Seized."
