Police were called to a parade of shops in a village last night as Halloween hooligans took to the streets.

Many went trick or treating last night but Flackwell Heath residents got a real scare as "70 to 80 teenagers" caused chaos with police forced to intervene.

Fireworks were "fired at passing vehicles" as police begin to review body-worn videos to assist investigations into numerous offences.

An eyewitness also told the Bucks Free Press that "loads of eggs" were taken by police who were "guarding" the village's Sainsbury's Local.

Police attended the scene at around 6.15pm and were called out for the second time at 7.08pm.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said officers who attended the scene "dispersed the group" but made no arrests.

Police also attended Walton Drive on Halloween as they stopped a group who were setting off fireworks into a High Wycombe Road.
