Police were called to a fear for welfare incident at a home in West Wycombe yesterday afternoon.

Multiple police cars were seen parked outside an address in Chapel Lane, West Wycombe, at around 1.15pm on Tuesday.

The busy road, which borders the West Wycombe Estate, feeds onto the A40 West Wycombe Road.

Thames Valley Police has since confirmed that officers were sent to a fear for welfare incident at that location.

They added that the incident was “safely resolved” but would not comment further.

A police spokeswoman said: “The police presence related to a fear for welfare of an individual.

“This was safely resolved and we wouldn’t provide any further details.”
