Aylesbury’s new Sainsbury’s store has revealed the date it will officially open its doors to the public.
The supermarket, which will be the second of its kind in the town, will be available to shop from on Wednesday, November 24.
The new Gatehouse Road store will join the Buckingham Street branch in Aylesbury.

Claire Fielder, Sainsbury’s Aylesbury Gatehouse Store Manager, said: “We’re busy training our fantastic new team that will make up Aylesbury Gatehouse and everyone is excited to welcome customers into the store on November 24."
Sainsbury’s Property Director Patrick Dunne added: “It’s great to see Aylesbury Gatehouse nearing completion and I am delighted that we are now able to announce the opening date of such an important store.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the new store in action first-hand on opening day as we welcome our first customers.”

Features at the 50,000 square foot supermarket include a spacious car park that will include a Sainsbury’s bee hotel, vehicle charging points, along with many disabled spaces.
Additionally, the new store will provide a ‘substantial investment’ into the Aylesbury area, by delivering around 150 jobs.
The store will also have an Argos branch inside.
