A High Wycombe man has been thrown in jail for a “disgusting attack” on a public servant.

Christopher Buckland, of Micklefield Road, has been locked up for seven months after he was found guilty of assault.

Appearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on October 28, Buckland denied assaulting Daniel Cracknell in High Wycombe on September 4, 2020.

The justices were not convinced though, and found him guilty of the offence, slamming the defendant for using “disgusting behaviour on a public servant.”

Also at the hearing, Buckland admitted to making off without paying for fuel in Stokenchurch on September 22, 2020.

The court heard how the offender filled his vehicle up with £30-worth of fuel and drove away without paying.
