Police closed a section of the A404 this morning after a car was flipped on its roof.

Officers were on the scene in the early hours of the morning where an overturned car was found on the northbound approach to the Bisham Roundabout.

The driver was no where to be seen, but he left his ID behind, so he can expect to hear from officers very soon.

Lane two of the northbound carriageway was closed on te appraoch to Bisham Roundabout but has since been reopened.

On social media, Thames Valley Police Roads Policing said: "A404 northbound between Henley and Bisham Roundabout has a Lane 2 closure on approach to Bisham Roundabout whilst we recover a vehicle on its roof.

"Driver didn’t want to hang around, but left his ID and other bits behind!"
