A home in High Wycombe has been closed down by police due to "nuisance or disorder."

A flat in Conegra Road has been issued with a closure order under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act.

Police applied for the order, which was granted by Wycombe Magistrates' Court on October 6, due to "nuisance or disorder" reported at the property.

The order came into effect immediately and will be in force for three months, preventing anyone aside from police and specified people from entering the premesis.

Closure orders can be put in force if the police or local authority have suspicions that disorderly or criminal behaviour is taking place at a property, if there is a "serious nuisance" to the public coming from the premises, or if there is disorder associated with the premises.
