A 22-year-old man from Aylesbury has been arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs in the town.

The man, who was apprehended by officers on Thursday, November 18 at around 3pm on the Oxford Road, was arrested on suspicion of being in possession, with the intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A - Cocaine.

He has since been released from custody but remains under investigation whilst Thames Valley Police’s enquiries continue.

A brief statement on social media reads: “If you’re concerned about drug-related crime in your area or think someone may be a victim of drug exploitation, please call us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

The arrest was made in relation to the Aylesbury Stronghold operation, which try and track down alleged drug dealers in the town.
