Police have named the Iver car wash where the owner was fined £15,000 following an immigration investigation.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) and Immigration Enforcement began investigating the North Star car wash back in July.

Last week, police confirmed a number of workers were identified as working illegally with there also being concerns over their welfare.

The car wash is in the car park of the North Star Iver pub which is on Thorney Mill Road, just off junction 15 on the M25.

Following the investigation, the owner of the car wash was fined £15000.

A TVP spokesman said: "Following a joint operation with immigration in July, a number of individuals were identified as working illegally with welfare concerns.

"With collective evidence from the Police and Immigration, the owner of a car wash in Iver has been fined £15000."

The Bucks Free Press has contacted the North Star pub and is in the process of contacting the Home Office and will provide further updates as we get them.
