A driver has been fined after he was caught speeding at 120mph on the M40.

Ali Hussain, aged 23, has been fined £168 and told to pay £124 in costs after he nearly doubled the 70mph speed limit on the motorway.

Hussain, of Hainault Road in Waltham Forest, London, was travelling between junction 1A and junction 2, near Gerrards Cross, on April 4 when he was caught on a speed camera.

At Wycombe Magistrates' Court on November 9, Hussain pleaded guilty to a charge of exceeding the speed limit and was sentenced by a single magistrate.

As well as the fine and costs, Hussain's licence was also endorsed with six penalty points. He did not recieve any form of driving ban.
