A man fractured an orbital bone and had three ribs broken in an attack by a large group on High Wycombe High Street.

The attack happened between 2.30am and 3.30am on Sunday (December 5) near Guildhall, where a group of around 8 to 12 people left the man, in his thirties, requiring hospital treatment.

He attended Wexham Park Hospital, Weston Eye Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital after fracturing his orbital bone as well as breaking three ribs.

One of the attackers is described by police as "a black man with short dreadlocks, aged between 20 and 30 with a London accent and a gold tooth in the middle of the top row".

Case investigator, Hannah Hargreaves based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this incident to please come forward.

“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43210549086.
