Police are hunting down a would-be burglar following an attempted High Wycombe break-in.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an attempted burglary in Priory Avenue.

On October 31, at around 4am, the offender tried to open the front door of the property, then went to the back of the house and entered a shed.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Thomas Digby, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “The man in these pictures may have vital information about this attempted burglary.

“If you think you know him, or if this is you, please contact Thames Valley Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the reference 43210491500 or make a report online.

“You can also remain 100% anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111”.
