Bucks Free Press:

The man who raped a woman in her own home and covered her face with a pillow to mask her screams was jailed for five years and ten months in November.

Callum Leslie, 28, of Prebnedal Avenue in Aylesbury, sexually assaulted his victim after meeting her at the Mirage nightclub in the town centre.

During what was at first a consensual sexual encounter, Leslie started to inflict pain on his victim, and when she told him to stop he refused. As he began hurting her more, she started screaming, and Aylesbury Crown Court heard how he covered her face with a pillow to drown out the noise.

A jury found Leslie guilty of rape, and he had also pleaded guilty to several charges of possessing indecent images of children after police found thousands of sexual pictures on his phone and computer.

Sentencing, Judge Geoffrey Payne said: “She was entitled to expect that you would stop when she asked you to stop, but you carried on regardless and covered up her face when she called for help.”
