An elderly woman had her cash and cards stolen from her by two men in Marlow.

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the theft, which took place in Marlow High Street on November 11.

At between 1pm and 1.30pm, the woman was taking money from the cash machine outside Natwest when she was pulled from behind by an unknown man.

At this moment, another man came up to her and spoke to her. It was only later that she realised her purse had been stolen and that her bank cards had been used to make several transactions.

Designated Investigator Craig Lambert, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are releasing these CCTV images as we believe these individuals may have vital information that could help us with the investigation.

“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43210528783.

“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via their website.”
