A Bucks stalker who sent a woman unwanted gifts and messages has given a restraining order.

Joseph White, aged 29, of Park Place in Amersham, pleaded guilty to a stalking charge at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on December 20.

The court heard how White harassed his victim by sending her messages, sending unwanted gifts to her home, and continued making contact after she had asked him not to.

After admitting the offence, White was given a community order and told he must carry out 135 hours of unpaid work within the next year.

He was also given a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim.

White was also ordered to pay £395 costs.
