A Bucks man has been arrested in connection with an attempted investigation after a man was stabbed.

A 23-year-old man from Amersham has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender after a man was stabbed and suffered ‘significant injuries’ to his face and head in an attack in Slough.

On Monday, police were called to Baylis Park where they found a 38-year-old man suffering with serious injuries.

Police have arrested and charged Omar Chaudhry, 26, of no fixed abode, with one count of attempted murder.

The man from Amersham has not been charged by police.

Chaudhry has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on January 24, 2022.
