A High Wycombe man has been fined more than £2,500 after he dumped a barbecue, garden furniture and other waste in Bucks.

Pavel Podlesnii, 29, of Booker Lane, has been ordered to pay £2,548 after he admitted to fly-tipping in Haw Lane, Saunderon.

On Wednesday 22 December, Wycombe Magistrates’ Court heard how Podlesnii dumped waste including an old barbecue, garden furniture, pieces of wood and black sacks full of rubbish on June 16.

The offender was caught on a hidden camera near the site where he dumped the waste.

Podlesnii, who had brought the rubbish from Weybridge in Surrey, admitted to the court that he had made a mistake and that he had dumped the waste because he needed money to care for his family.

The justices in this case did not have much sympathy, and ordered him to pay up in costs and fines.
