A man has been arrested after police stopped and searched a car in Great Missenden.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the early hours of the morning and said the driver showed "signs of impairment".

They also said the man "smelt strongly cannabis" as he went on to fail a roadside drug test.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We stopped a car around 4am in Great Missenden.

"The driver showed signs of impairment and smelt strongly of cannabis.

"A stop and search found a small quantity of drugs and the driver failed a roadside drug wipe."
