A man fled police officers in Gerrards cross leaving behind sixty bags of cannabis.

The bags were found in the storage box of the motorbike the man ran away from when confronted by officers.

He also left his phone behind as Thames Valley Police took to social media to let residents know of the find.

The post read: "To the gentleman who legged it from response team 3 in Gerrards Cross earlier today.

"You left your phone and your helmet behind!

"Don’t worry though they’re safe with us, along with the motorbike with the sixty bags of cannabis in the storage box!

"Feel free to give us a call or drop in to Amersham police station at your earliest convenience."
