A Birmingham man has been jailed for two years for threatening to kill two people last year.

Glody Maki, of Mere Road, Birmingham threatened to kill the people both face-to-face as well as via an electronic device on February 2, 2021, in the Conniburrow area of Milton Keynes.

The 30-year-old was arrested on February 6, 2021, before being charged the following day.

He pleaded guilty to two counts of threats to kill on Wednesday, January 5, at Reading Crown Court.

He has been sentenced to two years in jail and was made the subject of a restraining order to protect his two victims.

PC Serena Bellis, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am very pleased with this conviction and Maki has now received a substantial custodial sentence.

“I would like to pay tribute to both victims, who have supported police through what must have been a challenging time.

“Maki’s actions have brought harm to his victims and I hope that this conviction and sentence brings some solace and closure for them.

“Maki will now have to spend time in prison to reflect upon his crimes.”
