THE Tidy Britain Group is telling people in Bucks they still have time to make a contribution to keeping their area free of rubbish.
Former Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner has joined the Just Bin It campaign, UK's biggest anti-litter campaign.
She said: "Litter blights the reputation of any area and costs us as tax payers more than £350 million a year to clean up."
Thousands of groups have already risen to the challenge but organisers want more people to register their disgust at the rising litter problem.
Anthea added: "I got a bit of a reputation for keeping the Big Brother house tidy. Now people can also gain the reputation for keeping Bucks tidy."
