THE DIRECTOR of the Forum Players current panto hopes the final performances can match up to the shows so far.

Brenda Fox, who also wrote The Witches of Bourne End', said the show have been a huge success and hopes they will not have to turn anyone away from Saturday's performances.

Along with the three paid-for shows last weekend, the players also performed for free for the village's senior citizens the Wednesday before.

Mrs Fox said: "The comments as people were leaving and on the intervals was that they had enjoyed it and they were very complimentary. They were laughing in all the right places which is always a good sign."

Mrs Fox said the show on Sunday was a big success and they even had to find more chairs to sit everyone.

She added that hopefully the final two shows will be a sell-out and word-of-mouth will help attract more visitors.

Tickets are still available for the final two shows, at 2.30pm and 6.30pm, on Saturday.

Tickets cost £9 for adults, £7 for concessions and a family ticket, consisting of two adults and two concessions, costs £30. All are available from Bourne End Library or on 01628 523291.
