A drunk Porsche driver has been fined more than £1,000 after he was caught at nearly double the legal limit.

Peter Storey, 43, of Seymour Court Lane in Marlow, has been fined £1,153 and given a 17-month driving ban after he was caught drink driving in Nuthall, Nottinghamshire, on April 16, 2021.

Storey was driving a Porsche when he gave a blood alcohol reading of 142 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams.

At Nottinghamshire Magistrates' Court on December 9, 2021, Storey pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving.

On top of the hefty fine, the magistrates also ordered him to pay £200 in costs, leaving him with an overall bill of £1,353.
