A driver has been injured in a crash on the M40 between High Wycombe and Stokenchurch.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following a collision on the motorway between Junction 4 and Junction 5.

At around 11.13am on Sunday 16 January, a silver Vauxhall Astra travelling towards Oxford crashed on the motorway. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The driver of the Vauxhall sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.

Police have asked for anyone who saw the collision to come forward and aid with inquiries.

Investigating officer, Brian Perry of the Joint Roads Policing Unit based at Bicester, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident or may have dash-cam in their cars to please check their footage and get in touch if it has captured anything that could assist this investigation.
